Student Uniform Guide
1) What uniform should I wear today?
- Most days = FORMAL UNIFORM (unless staff tell you otherwise)
- PE / M&W day = SPORTS UNIFORM (unless staff say otherwise).
- Whole school days (Sports day, Community day etc) = SPORTS UNIFORM
2) FORMAL UNIFORM — What is REQUIRED?
You MUST have and wear:
- Polo shirt (school version, short or long sleeved)
- Top layer (Sweater/Vest/zipped female or unisex Cardigan (school version)) or the Warmup hoodie (school version)
Either:
- Suit pants (school version), or
- Kilt skirt (school version)
- If you choose to wear the long-sleeved Oxford shirt, you must wear the school tie with it.
- School down jacket is strongly recommend (but you can wear your own it is exactly the same style and colour as the school version)
- You CANNOT replace uniform with your own jumper/hoodie/jacket.
3) SPORTS UNIFORM — What is REQUIRED for Sports/M&W?
You MUST wear:
- School PE T-shirt (white and blue)
- School gym shorts OR school warm-up pants / blue leggings
- If cold: school hoodie / training jacket
- If wet: school rain jacket
- You MAY wear the school cap with sports uniform.
- No non-school caps during the school day.
- You CANNOT wear sweatpants as a replacement for sports training pants
4) FOOTWEAR
FORMAL UNIFORM SHOES
- Allowed:
- Formal leather shoes
- Neutral colour only: black / dark brown / navy
- Not allowed:
- Trainers (any kind)
- Canvas shoes
- Sandals / open shoes
- UGGs
- Knee-high boots
- Fashion boots
- Bright colours / patterns
WINTER BOOTS
- Allowed ONLY if they are:
- Dark/neutral colour
- Safe and practical for snow/ice
- Not allowed:
- UGGs
- Knee-high fashion boots
- Fur fashion boots
- Bright colours / patterns
PE FOOTWEAR
- Trainers suitable for sport.
- Boots are not PE footwear unless staff specifically say so for an activity.
5) If you’re unsure
Ask before you wear it. If it isn’t in the official uniform collections, it’s probably not allowed.
